The Gorn Ambassador shifted uncomfortably in his chair, his flag ship was now only mere hours away from the Federation station and he and his officers found it had been the more opportune time to put on their best battle armor. In the Gorn society intricate armor was a sign of great power and significance and the Gorn Ambassador had a suit of armor the entire crew would kill each other over.
"Hail the Federation station and let them know of our arrival time."
"Aye sir." GorHak replied.
GorHak turned to his station and began the text only transmission to Deep Space Beta.
Attention Agent: Gorn arrival in a matter of hours, be prepared.
"Message sent sir." GorHak replied.
"Good, full speed ahead!"
********************************************* Deep Space Beta
In the depths of the maintenance section a lone Federation officer was hard at work on the transporter system when suddenly his PADD began to glow indicating he had just received a new message.
Attention Agent: Gorn arrival in a matter of hours, be prepared.
The Federation officer smiled after reading the message. Looking over his work one last time the officer felt happy with how the transporters would now work.
Turning to his PADD the officer began typing a message of his in return.
Gorn vessel: Everything on the station is ready for your arrival.

David Steiner lurched forward, hitting the lockers. Nonsense. It wasn't fair. The man was dying, he should have some peace and quiet, for once. Why can't you leave him alone? I need a nap. A-
"Mr. Steiner?"
David whirled around. He was in his quarters, having one of those wild dreams again. Stupid brain of his. He'd been born with some sort of psychological disorder, and been too afraid to go ask a doctor about it when he was a teenager. Starfleet definitely wouldn't have let him in if they'd known. But normally his brain didn't conjur up anything so coherent as the man in front of him.
"What?" asked David, not moving a muscle.
"You have a severe affliction. I have studied it, and it seems that you may have chronic depression, schizophrenia, skitzophrenia, schi-"
David didn't care who he was, or even if he was real. Starfleet was his income. Without his income, he could not pay for the drugs to keep him sane the few hours he could afford. He'd read up on chemestry, neurology, gone to a private doctor, and been able to find a temporary (and very expensive) cure for his state of mind. This man had found out. He had to be silenced. But to David's surprsie the man sidestepped with amazing speed and David crashed into the wall.
"Really, David, you must be more careful. Now see here. I've got a proposition you can't refuse. If you do as I say, I can get rid of you problems. No more hallucinations. You will be happy, and you can go wherever you want without worrying if you might break down in front of someone." The man smiled and sprayed something in David's face. "All you need to do is kill Lt. Williams."
...kill Williams. Yes. It would feel good.
"You will be happy, no? Here's some incentive for you to think about my proposition." The man handed a dazed David a package, and then left swiftly.
When David started thinking more clearly, he stumbled to his closet and found his pills. After swallowing two, he turned to the package. Upon opening it, he found more of the same pills. Enough to last a month, or maybe more. What a nice man. And he hadn't even asked for anything in return. Not that David could remember.
*********************************************
Caboose started putting on his armor for the training exercise. Something felt wrong as he put it on. He stopped, thought for a moment, and then resumed putting it on. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. After he put the armor on, though, a familiar sensation returned. With a different feel, though. Like a variation on a theme. The AI chip?
Hello, Caboose. I'm Reynolds.
Uh-oh.
*********************************************
This unit of Marines was filled with dangerous officers. They had to be eliminated. It was a shame Williams had to go, but she was too attached, in Agent Picket's opinion, to Captain Church. Those AI-capable suits were too deadly to be wandering around a Starbase. And Rorgel, Steiner, and Hayes all had earned the attention of Picket's agency.
Picket would infect Church's AI tomorrow. He'd be assigned to take out McLean, Hayes, and Rorgel. That would get him jailed for a very long time. Caboose couldn't be relied on to take anyone out: he was too mentally unstable, and had already experienced an AI chip before. To Picket's knowledge, Church had not. And his AI would be much more troublesome than Caboose's...
*********************************************
Hayes had paid the assassin his first payment, and the mysterious, hooded man had vanished almost instantly. Togg pulled Hayes close.
"There's talk about some government agent, just come in. He's out to get certain people. Could be a rumor, could be true. I don't know. But if I were you, I'd watch my back a little more than usually. I'll alert you if anything comes by me."
Hayes nodded and put down a slightly large tip as he left. "Thanks for the heads up, friend."
Togg grinned. "Anything to help such a customer."
*********************************************
Marine training, 0837
"Caboose, give us covering fire!" ordered Fish. "We're moving on their northeast position!"
"Okay," said Caboose/Reynolds. He jumped up and was hit by two snipers. He fell down, out of commision for the rest of the exercise.
Fish cursed, and got up and started running. Yanaguchi ran in the opposite direction, but was tagged by one of the enemy snipers. Curiously, though, the other sniper hadn't shot. Probably tracking her. A shot rang out, and Fish expected she wouldn't make it to the trees. Instead, Weta toppled out of them, twenty yards to her right. Hayes must have gotten him! Amazing. But no, wait... Hayes didn't have a sniper rifle... Fish spun around and saw Hayes get nailed in the chest by the other enemy sniper. Who had shot Weta? No time to worry. Get to the trees, then try and take out Church, Steiner and Bennet.
Church tackled Fish as she made it to the trees. "Speak of the devil," she grinned.
"Sorry," said Church, smiling. "It was in our favour, though. We had Weta."
"Do you know who shot him?" asked Fish.
"What?! How? You were the only one on your team left."
"I saw Weta fall," insisted Fish. Church helped her to her feet and she led him to where Weta had fallen. "See?"
Church shook his head. "This is wierd. Computer, end-"
Church was hit right in the chest. He crumpled instantly. Fish spun around, looking for the shooter. Everyone else was stunned, so who had shot him? Wait... everyone on her team was. Church's team still had...
Steiner changed his phaser rifle to the highest setting. Williams would be a few atoms floating in the air in about ten seconds. He took aim, began to pull back on the trigger...
"Computer, end scenario!" yelled Fish. All the weapons disappeared except one. The one was Steiner's which was pointed directly at her head. Steiner fell, he tree having disappeared below him. as he fell, his rifle began to point too high above Williams. He overcorrected, and grazed her head. Steiner fell to the ground and saw a small black blur headed straight for him. He tried to aim, but whatever it was had already reached him and plunged a daggar into his gut. A blow to the head followed quickly, and Steiner knew no more.

"Admiral Kirk, the Gorn Ambassador has finally arrived and is waiting for docking clearance on docking ring three."
"Good, go ahead and clear them for docking. I will be down shorty to greet them."
Watching a monitor the Admiral watched as the Gorn flagship docked at docking ring three, it would only be a matter of moments before the Gorn Ambassador was finally aboard the station; it was time to act.
"Computer, initiate site to site transport to docking ring three, order Echo, Tango, Charlie, 5-4-9."
The computer chimed and suddenly the Admiral vanished in the glow of the Federation transporters. With a phaser in his hand the Admiral suddenly appeared just in front of the Gorn Ambassador who extended out his hand in a traditional human sign of greeting. His hand shake was answered with a swift phaser shot to the chest, set to kill but not vaporize.
As the program had been designed to do the Admiral was transported away just as quickly as he had been brought in, leaving only the single phaser behind as proof a shooter had been there.
The Gorn guards rushed their fallen leader, pulling out weapons of their own, knives, and phasers making a perimeter around the Ambassador.
"Get him back to the ship!" GorHak yelled in his native tongue.
"I cannot sir, the docking doors will not open."
"Blast that door open!" GorHak ordered as he stepped back and also prepared to fire.
"Stop!" A Marine shouted with his phaser rifle drawn, "The doors are sealed as apart of a safety program. If everybody would just stay calm..."
"Lies! We come in peace only to have our leader assassinated by your Borg influenced commander." GorHak fired back, and With out warning GorHak fired on the single Marine officer vaporizing his instantly.
Security to docking ring three, shots fired, shots fired.
The announcement blazed over the COM system of the station, the normal lighting level of the station dimmed as the station changed from condition green to Red Alert.

"How does the Klingon's feel about peace talks with the Gorn?" Kirk asked General Ko'Vor.
"We are interested to see how they want to proceed with these talks after so much silents. but i believe we will be able to come to a good conclusion. As hopes my superiors."
"Caspian to Kirk and Ko'Vor. I suggest we meet as soon as possible in the Station Commander's Office. I have some... interesting news..."
"Ah the good Melachi wants to see us? well we may as well wait here for him." Ko'Vor was annoyed with the intruding com from Malachi but it would be nice to get everything wrapped up and it was only Caspain now who had to give his views on the situation.
Soon after the Admiral entered the office, not even bothering to knock. somethings haven't changed then... Ko'Vor thought as he turned to greet Melachi.
"Gentlemen." He said, nodding at the two of them. "Get my message?" He added coyly.
But without time to hear Caspains words a message came through announcing the Gorns arrival.
"It seems we Will have to discuss this later Admiral, we should probably greet our guests." Ko'Vor watched the facial reactions of both admerals, Both looks shifty, they didn't seem comfortable.
"Admiral Kirk, the Gorn Ambassador has finally arrived and is waiting for docking clearance on docking ring three."
"Good, go ahead and clear them for docking. I will be down shorty to greet them."
Kirk looked very uneasy. then he chanted into the computer. Suddenly without a word he had gone, with a phaser drawn! what was going on!?
"Ko'Vor to Kirk, whats....." Before he could finish the alerts sounded across the station.
-=Security to docking ring three, shots fired, shots fired.-=
"WHAT" Ko'Vor looked to Caspain, he was just as stunned.
"WE HAVE TO GET DOWN THERE!" Ko'Vor ordered a site to site transport but the computer didn't acknowledge his request, infact it wasn't acknowledging much at all, he was locked out!
"Caspain!?..." he called longingly, spinning around to watch as he also failed to over ride the lock outs.
"WE MUST get down there NOW!" Caspain nodded in agreeance, then the both of them made a run for it. "not a good way to start piece talks" Ko'Vor panted as they ran side by side.
"Ko'Vor to U'Hitar bring on security officers, we have a situation, arm with rifles set to stun"
The two men ran to docking ring 3, but the doors to the room were also sealed. they stood starring at it for a while before Ko'Vor launched himself at the door, bashing at it in Klingon rage.

"Shit," muttered Church. "Weta, Dvinski, stay here and guard Fish. Make sure Steiner doesn't go anywhere. Everyone else, come with me." The Marines were gathered around Fish, who was lying on a biobed in Sickbay. Red alert had just started, security had just been summoned to where the Gorn were to be landing, and Church wasn't about to let the Marines pass up this opportunity to get some field experience. Besides, a Marine had been killed by the Gorn, and Church wasn't going to let that slide, even if it was a Marine under someone else's command.
When they got to docking ring three, Caspian and a Klingon were trying to force their way in. Apparently, the doors were locked and overrides weren't working. Church wished Dvinski had come - he always carried explosives.
"Excuse us, gentlemen," said Church as Yanaguchi begin cutting into the door. Tremors indicated someone was firing on it from the other side. "This will take but a moment. I suggest you stand back while we clear the area."
Iphiat Poishik looked very frightened, and even Hayes had lost his typical arrogance. The Klingon officer looked outraged at the prospect of not being in on the upcoming fight, and voiced his opinion.
"Look, you want to come in with us, we aren't going to watch out for you," said Church as Yanaguchi finished cutting the door. "And don't get in the way."
Erblend, Caboose, and Rorgel were the first through the door, firing phaser rifles (set on heavy stun) as they entered. Hayes, Coltrane, Pankhurst, and Church were next. The two groups split off, drawing the fire of the Gorn. Caboose, Iphiat Poishik, and Bennet followed. Yanaguchi stayed behind, packing up her tools that had been used to cut the door.
Several of the Gorn fell before Coltrane was hit in the shoulder. Church ordered Erblend to pull him back. Before they reached the door, a couple Gorn got close enough to them to engage in close quarters combat. Erlbend took a knife to the chest. His light combat armor stopped the blade, but the other Gorn fired a shot apparently set for kill. It punched through the armor and Erblend toppled, hit in the gut. Church swung his rifle around and nailed both Gorn in the head. Even Weta would have been impressed at his speed.
Yanaguchi came thorugh the doors and pulled the other two back with Bennet's help. The Gorn were more numerous than the Marines, but security was also present. Slowly, the Gorn were beaten into submission. All were unconcious when Caspian ordered medical into the room.
"Don't get in your way," snorted the Klingon Church had met just prior to the skirmish.
Rorgel, who was standing nearby, laughed at the other Klingon's statement. Church tried to ignore him, and grabbed a passing nurse. "I have a couple wounded outside. Have you attended to them?"
"Yes, two Marines. One's in Sickbay now. He isn't looking too good," said the nurse before running off towards the Gorn.
"Church to Weta."
=^= Weta here. We've recieved Erblend, carried here by Yanaguchi and Bennet and accompanied by Coltrane. He is currently undergoing surgery, and may not survive. The shot destroyed his small and large intestines, as well as several other minor, non-vital organs. I think they are called organs, but I am not sure. He has lost a lot of blood. Fish is recovering. She would have been killed if the shot was half an inch to the right, but as it is she should be fit for duty in about half a day. Just a big headache and a slight burn right now. Steiner is stabalised, but he's not going to be walking in the near future. I gave him a concussion and punctured a lung, I believe.=^=
"Good job," said Church. "Tell me when they know if Erblend will make it. Church out."
Who was responsible for the failed start of the negotiations? Hayes couldn't be responsible. He had been in training when the problem started... and why had Steiner tried to kill Fish? It made no sense at all.
OFF: If this doesn't fit with the intended storyline, I'll delete it.
*********************************************
Picket was about to go in and finish off Fish himself when the other wounded Marines entered. There were some who weren't wounded with them, and he wouldn't be able to slip in unnoticed now. No. Perhaps he would finish tomorrow. And the Reynolds AI might be able to convince Caboose to kill Fish, in addition to wrecking havoc. Just because Caboose couldn't be trusted to do anything didn't mean Picket wasn't going to try and use him as a back-up. In fact, Caboose would start being severly affected by the AI within the next few hours. Picket would try to get him to kill Fish tonight. Then he would infect Church.

OCC: Church, it looks good, i like the fact that we all have our own sub plots going on at the same time.
The last thing Kirk remembered was looking at Admiral Caspian and General Ko'Vor before being blinded by the unexpected bright lights of a Federation transporter. He now found himself apparently standing alone in a completely pitch black room, even his Borg implants couldn't pull any light from the room.
Attention Borg drone, a voice echoed, Your kind aren't welcome in the Beta Quadrant and your presence in a Starfleet uniform is rather unsettling.
"Who are you, where am I!?"
There was no response, only the build up of electromagnetic particles in the air. Looking into the void the Borg implants started to show an alarming growth of EM particles, to the point they would eventually surge. Standing in the void Kirk had no idea where to go for protection, a single step could send him falling to his demise.
You shall become a pawn of ours until we have no further use for you, this is only the start of our advance into the Beta Quadrant Admiral.
Before Kirk could react he was suddenly hit by several small pockets of EM particles. He winched in pain as they caused small shocks against various parts of his body. Then suddenly a large blue ball of light began to spin around the room; Kirk now noticed he seemed to be in a small circular room. The ball of energy spun faster with the completion of each lap around the room until finally it exploded sending massive EM particles through Kirk's body.
The pain was intense buy only momentary, with in seconds Kirk lost consciousness.

Ko'Vor had started getting a gap between the doors, but not enough for any force to be applied. If he could just get it a little further the automatic locks will disengage.
Running up behind them came Church and his men. Ko'Vor turned as they came forward.
"Excuse us, gentlemen," said Church as Yanaguchi begin cutting into the door. Tremors indicated someone was firing on it from the other side. "This will take but a moment. I suggest you stand back while we clear the area."
Ko'Vor raised his fist then lowered it again. "you must be joking, you have no jurisdiction here, i am the FO of this station giving me priority!" Ko'Vor was outraged at there attempt to take over the situation.
"Look, you want to come in with us, we aren't going to watch out for you," said Church as Yanaguchi finished cutting the door. "And don't get in the way."
As the officers pored into the room to meet instant fire from the gorn, Ko'Vor drew his rifle and fired at some gorn guards.
Not long later Metta and her squad of Klingon's entered, armed with batleths and phaser rifles. they also joined the fight. but gorn had the advantage they were hiding in the door of there ship and others were poring out firing without aim.
Ko'Vor stood to get an aim at one of the gorn Using Covery fire. then just before he took his shot he was hit, right in the knee. his leg buckled and MEtta rushed over to grab him. Pulling him toward a pylon she said "you will be safe here". Then she ran back out armed with two rifles.
Some of the Klingon's had given up on there primary weapons and charged in with their batleths.
The star fleet Marines were setting up a fall back position as they continued firing into the Gorn hordes emanating from there vestal.
Ko'Vor tried to crane his neck around to see what was going on. Chaos was what he saw.

GorHak watched as the battle began to rage out of hand as he had wished it would. The Gorn Ambassador was now dead, leaving him to take the place of the fallen Ambassador. Seizing his moment GorHak threw his weapon onto the ground letting it slide toward the Federation Marines.
"Hold you fire!" GorHak shouted.
The Gorn guards obeyed his orders with out question as the fire fight came to an abrupt stop, leaving only the dead and wounded on the ground.
"I demand that Borg of a leader you have be arrested at once for the assassination of our Ambassador!" GorHak shouted from behind cover.

Ko'Vor looked shocked at the sudden seize fire, he worried the gorn were tricking them and the Klingon's looked rather uneasy too. They were inches away from letting the full blows of their batleths land on the gorn and almost seemed stuck in a frame, hovering the weapons over the gorn looking back to Ko'Vor for orders.
Ko'Vor tried to get up and after an initial stumble he managed to lean on the wall near him. 'Lower the weapons, step back." he ordered.
A few Klingon's obeyed immediately, however frustrated. and others made a final show of aggression, threatening to hit the gorn anyway and just before doing so they then pulled back and moved off.
Ko'Vor looked to caspain, it was his show now, being the highest ranking officer in the room.

OCC: no worries Daya, i know you will bounce back.
Kirk awoke in his quarters on board the Darkhawk. Rubbing his eyes he tried to regain focus on what had happened. The longer he sat thinking about it the more he realized he couldn’t remember anything. Standing up Kirk became extremely dizzy causing him to fall back down into his chair, looking out into his quarters his vision again began to swing around as if the ship itself was at sea during a heavy swell.
“Computer, where…I am?” Kirk asked.
Please Clarify Command
“ Damn you computer,” Kirk said as he tried to stand up only this time to fall onto the ground, “Medical Emergency, Admiral Kirk location.”
Medical Emergency USS Darkhawk, Admiral Kirk’s quarters
Kirk heard the announcement the computer had sent over the COM system and finally had an idea on where he now was. As he tried to stand again a sudden pain shot through his head. Pressing his hands against the side of his head Kirk scrunched his face in agony, the pain was unbearable causing him to black out.

"Metta to Ko'Vor, an emergency medical summon has just been requested on board the Darkhawk. it is coming from Kirks quarters..."
"thank you Metta". Ko'Vor looked around and decided to slip out un-noticed, it was only fair that if it was in fact Kirk that sent it, he should try and get there first. If not to defend him, to hear his side of the story.
he limped down the corridors and noticed a Starfleet officer involved in the fight stalking him.
stopping he stood straight. "Whatever it is officer you will probably prefer surviving this day rather than annoying me at the moment..." Ko'vor waited, then without looking back he heard the officer run back the way they had come.
"Ko'Vor to Metta, when i am on the Darkhawk try to erect a force field around the admirals quarters. only let it down if one of us says."
"Yes General". Metta replied.
Ko'Vor got slowly to the Darkhawk dock. on the doorway it was odd to still see scorch marks. obviously the ships was still in early stages of repair. typing in his clearance code he was allowed to enter after having to help the doors open a little. "computer, where is Kirks Quarters from this location?"
"follow the red guides". Ko'Vor did so until the computer decided to tell him "you have arrived". Ko'Vor rung the chime but had no response. forcing another set of doors he found Kirk trying to get up. Ko'vor rushed to take his arm.
"Metta, can you do it?" he asked. "no sir, I cant channel power." "In that case beam us to the U'Hitar."
Kirk looked confused. "wha- why?" he mumbled. "If you are on my ship you will be under klingon jurisdiction... My jurisdiction. Starfleet wont be able to touch you until I decide they can. and i think before they can you have some explaining to do.... Metta, transport."

Kirk unzipped his jacket letting himself get more comfortable. He noticed Ko'Vor pacing, something Kirk had never seen Ko'Vor actually do but knew it was a sign of wearing patience.
"So," Ko'Vor finally said.
"I wish I knew, what's going on General?" Kirk asked sounding confused.
"Don't play games with me Admiral," Ko'Vor said backing Kirk into a corner.
Looking around Kirk began to feel powerless, here he was face to face with a genuine, battle hardened Klingon warrior; as fierce as they came but was unable to find the words he needed. Kirk had always thought of himself as a brave man who would risk his life to protect his crew and the Federation, at this moment he found himself in fear of another humanoid for the first time since his assimilation.
"You had better start talking." Ko'Vor said pulling a small knife out of it's sheath.
"I don't know what you want me to say General. The last thing I remember was being in my office with you, then I found myself in my quarters on board the Darkhawk." Kirk said looking hard at the blade.
"Why did you kill him?" Ko'Vor asked.
"Kill who?"
"No games!" The Klingon shouted, "Why did you kill the Gorn Ambassador?"
"I never killed the Gorn Ambassador, I was standing with you in my office, besides the Gorn Ambassador hasn't even arrived yet." Kirk replied.
Ko'Vor looked curiously at Kirk, it was true that they had not heard the Ambassador's arrival just as Kirk had beamed away from his office.
"We shall see how innocent you really are." Ko'Vor said sitting down across the room that resembled a mess hall.
Kirk began to relax until he saw several Klingon warriors enter the mess hall from behind Ko'Vor.
"General, what's going on?" Kirk asked.
There was no response from Ko'Vor only a simple hand gesture that sent several Klingon's Kirk's way with weapons drawn. As they approached Kirk fears turned into adrenaline, he was backed into a corner facing three Klingon's. The odds were against him and he knew it.
Klingon's preferred to fight one on one in a circle until only one man stood standing at the end, this was a new form of a judicial system for Kirk, it seemed that you were guilty no matter what.
The first Klingon charged in swinging his blade wildly attempting to kill the Starfleet Admiral. Using his body to block punches and kicks Kirk waited for his chance to go on the offensive, unfortunately for him the battle didn't last long. As Kirk was blocking a high punch from the Klingon's left hand he was stabbed in the gut with the Klingon's open right hand sending Kirk to the ground bleeding.
Kirk looked up at the warrior, who was posed to strike at any moment. He was called off quickly by General Ko'Vor.
"It seems that you are truly innocent Admiral," Ko'Vor said standing up from his table, "A guilty man will do just about anything to escape, at least you fought, not long, but you fought with honor." Ko'Vor finished extending his arm for Kirk to take.
The Klingon pulled Kirk back up onto his feet and sent the three warriors away.
"Let's get you to sickbay before that becomes a problem." Ko'Vor said helping the injured Admiral, "You know we should really do something about your fighting skills."

"What a mess," said Iphiat Poishik. "Don't you think, Caboose?"
Caboose chuckled. It sounded like someone laughing quietly, but in a maniacal sort of way. Poishik was frieghtened.
"C-C-Caboose?" asked the Bolian. "You okay?"
"Of course," said Caboose in his normal voice. Then he added in a higher, odder voice, "Let the games begin! I win, I win, hehehe!"
With that, Caboose skipped away, leaving a startled and confused Bolian behind. He found his way to somone's quarters, and blasted the door open.
"What the- who are you?" asked the elderly man inside, surprised to see someone wearing full body armour inside his doorway. Caboose just smiled and stunned the man, then moved on to the next room. A young couple, half dressed were stunned next, followed by a young male Vulcan, and then an Andorian. Security was tied up with the Gorn, and Caboose was long gone by the time anyone noticed the rooms and called Security.
*********************************************
Church had recalled the Marines, and found Caboose and Iphiat Poishik to be missing. Poishik showed up soon after being called, though, stuttering about Caboose acting wierd. Church thought Caboose acted weird all the time, but he'd check in on Caboose anyway. It was an odd time for him to just leave.
The Marines headed to the training room, to take off their gear. Everyone was silent, and it took Church a moment or two to realise he was the one in the lead. He couldn't hear any footsteps behind him. They weren't in the civilian sector, so the corridor was empty. Empty in a very onimous way. Church stopped and turned around to see Pankhurst lying on the floor, almost out of sight. He couldn't see Iphiat Poishik anywhere. Rorgel and Hayes were only a few meters from him, weapons drawn.
Church dove towards them and brought his own rifle to bear. He was hit in both legs, and his shot went wide, hitting Rorgel's arm and not his chest. Church butted Hayes's legs with his rifle, and the man fell on his Captain. Rorgel hesitated, not want to hit his friend. Church switched his weapon to kill, and fired. He'd aimed at Rorgel's chest, but Hayes knocked the rifle at the last moment and Rorgel's brains were soon splattered all over the wall. Church focused his attention on Hayes, drawing a knife, but the other man was too fast. He fired a type-one phaser, and Chruch watched his left hand, the one with the knife, disappear. It was incredibly painful, and Church was barely able to surprse a scream of pain and rage. Hayes then plunged his own dagger into Church, right where his body armour was weakest - in the gut. Hayes stood up, taking Church's rifle. With a smirk, he leveled the rifle at Church's head. Church was loosing conciousness, due to loos of blood, but he thought he saw Hayes crumple before he was shot...
*********************************************
Picket took a deep breath, calming himself. These idiot Marines had almost killed themselves, which would have been ideal, but there were other officers who had come along and stunned Church and Hayes before Church could be finished off. Too bad. At least Rorgel was dead, and with everyone but Hayes temporarily out of commision, Picket could finish them off quickly. He wouldn't even need to infect Church now.
After surveying the scene, Picket had departed. He had managed to inject Church with a drug that would keep him in a coma for several days. With any luck, it would kill him, but Picket didn't believe in luck. But in any case, it would not be long until he completed his mission, and then- what was that? Picket looked to his left, and there was a cloaked, hooded figure, with a phaser pointed at him. Picket had barely registered the thing's existance when it fired, sending Picket into the oblivion from which few had returned.

Church was not awake when Erblend died. Fish was, though, and watched as the nurses took him into the mourge. He had been a good soldier. Not the best, but good, and he had been such a nice person. His funeral service would be much more sobering then Rorgel's. Fish knew that he and Hayes had tried to kill Church. But until Church awoke, no one could say what had happened. Iphiat Poishik and Pankhurst didn't recal anything, except that they had been walking down the hall when they suddenly collapsed. Rorgel wasn't ever going to say anything again, and Martin Hayes had accused Church of ranting and raving, and then blowing Rorgel's head off. He said he had just acted in self-defense. Fish didn't believe any of it.
Things didn't look good, though. Caboose was missing, Rorgel was dead (probably the only good thing), Hayes and Church (still asleep) were both under arrest, Erblend was dead, Coltrane was injured, Iphiat Poishik was too scared to move, Steiner was acting deranged and had been put in an artificial coma until the medical staff could deal with him, and Weta and Dvinski were both determined to guard Fish and Church until they got better. What miserable fortune. At least Yanaguchi had been able to step up to the plate and lead the other Marines in Church's stead. Of course, 'other Marines' only included Bennet and Pankhurst, so they weren't a very formidable force.

Daya was biskly walking down a corrider, heading straight for sickbay, it seemed Captain Church had killed one of his crewmen, and Daya wanted to know why.
When he stepped into sickbay, he saw Church still asleep, with two securtiy men standing by him, he was under arrest after all.
"Well, care to tell me what happened?" he asked, looking at Fish, who was put in charge after another of Church's insidents.
<Tag Fish>
"i see, so your telling me there is a conspiracy agaisnt Church, and a few of the other Marines?"
"Yes sir, only a little more strange than that"
" I know what you mean" Daya paced for a moment as he thought over what he just heard, " I want you to send Church to my office as soon as he wakes up, no questions" He said, to both Fish and the two secuirty presoneel.
Daya walked over to Hayes, who had four security crewmen surrounding his bed, "If what you tell me is true, i want this man in the bridge, before he wakes up, I'll deal with him later"
