Kirk had just finished looking over his messages from Starfleet Command when all of the sudden the station went to red alert. Kirk looked around a bit confused as the sirens blazed in sequence with traditional flashing red lights.
“What the hell is going on?” Kirk said out loud as he stood up from his chair to exit the First Officer’s office.
Right as Kirk stepped onto the Command Deck he spotted Commander Ikar standing at the tactical station looking in Kirk’s direction. Kirk caught Ikar’s gaze and in a instant Kirk had a gut feeling he knew what was going to happen next.
"Fire." Ikar ordered.
Beta rocked slightly as the Station fired everything she had at three targets. Two of which were unseen, but one was...
"The planet!!" Kirk yelled.
Ikar turned and smile. "And so it begins..." He said and laughed.
On the view screen, it could now be seen what Ikar had fired at. There were two Klingon scouts badly damaged off the port side. Immediately, three other vessels decloaked and began to fire on Beta.
"This is madness!" Kirk yelled, jumping down to Ikar's level and attempting to deactivate the weapons.
"It won't work Captain. It's a preset program. We’re living this one out..." He smiled wickedly. "Or not..." He added.
The station rocked again as more fire reigned to and fro. Two minutes into the battle and Metron vessels had begun to arrive. Kirk quickly ran back up to the First Officer’s office where he had seen a wall locker. Kirk quickly punched in his command codes opening the locking just as he could feel the station firing more quantum torpedoes.
“Captain I can not get it to stop firing.” One of the tactical officers yelled.
"IT'S WAR!!" He cried. "THE FEDERATION WILL SURVIVE!"
Kirk took careful aim with the hand held phaser he had pulled out of the locked and fired a single shot set on the maximum charge, destroying the console in front of Ikar, causing him to jump back. Kirk looked up to the main view screen and watched as the phasers and torpedoes stopped firing.
“NO!” Ikar screamed, "You've condemned us to death Kirk, but the war has already started!" He laughed. "Starfleet will have to fight, against both the Klingons and the Metrons. There is nothing you or I can do..."
Kirk quickly lowered the charge setting back down to stun before he took aim and shot Ikar in the chest. Kirk watched as Ikar slowly fell to the deck knocking his head on a broken piece of the station he was just using. With our hesitation Kirk ran over Ikar and activated Ikar’s COM badge, “Computer site to site transport to holding block 1, cell 3, and upon arrival activate the force field.”
The computer chimed and Ikar was quickly transported off the Command Deck.
“Computer, deactivate Commander Ikar’s COM Badge and Command Codes, reinstate Kirk Command Codes, Kirk, Alpha, Tango, 3-1-6.”
Commander Ikar’s Command Codes are needed to relieve his Command Codes
“Emergency override, Zeta, Charlie, Omega.” Kirk said.
Emergency Codes Accepted, Command now changed to Captain, Kirk, Jonathan
Kirk was thinking on his feet at the moment and tried to think of a way to ease the situation with the Klingon’s and the Metrons. Just moments after Ikar was transporter off the Command Deck a single large Metron Warship decloaked and began to fire upon the station.
”Report!” Kirk yelled.
“Sir, shields down to 75%, all other systems still operational.”
“Open a channel all frequencies.” Kirk ordered as he was forced to brace himself again a console as the station took several hard shield impacts.
“Channel open sir.”
“Attention all ships currently engaged against this station, stand down! The attacks on your ships were caused by a lone officer on board this station and he has since been captured.” Kirk said trying to get the attention of both parties at the same time.

Ikar slammed to the floor as the Station rocked violently again. He awoke with a start and was firstly shocked to find himself alive. He was sure Kirk would have killed him. The second shock came when he rolled over and realised he was in the Brig.
However, when the Station rocked again Ikar found himself smiling, despite the pain. He had succeeded. The Klingons were fighting the Federation, the Federation the Metrons, the Metrons the Klingons. It was all too perfect.
The Station rocked again as Ikar tried to stand, he stumbled but managed to gain his balance. He didn't bother to attempt to use his comm badge. There was no doubt that Kirk had disabled it and then relieved Ikar of Command, however, Kirk did not account for outside help...
Right on cue the doors to the Brig slid open slowly and Ora, cloaked in black still, stepped in. He slowly walked over to the Brig controls and entered in three codes, all stolen from Kirk of course.
=^= WARNING, THIS PROTOCOL IS FOR LEVEL 9 EMERGENCIES ONLY, PLEASE INSTATE FOURTH AND FINAL CODE =^=
While Ora was doing this he had also lowered the forcefield containing Ikar, who promptly stepped from his cell and approached Ora.
"What are you doing friend?" Ikar asked over the sound of the sirens and the roar of the fire hitting the Station.
"You have achieved all you were meant to. Now I am to achieve what I am to." He replied.
=^= TRANSFERRING COMMAND OF BETA TO CIVILLIAN CONTROL =^= The Computer sounded.
Ikar was confused. "Civillian control?" He asked.
Ora lowered his hood and for the first time Ikar saw his companion for what he was. "You..." He said.
"Oh please John!" The emotional Vulcan yelled. "Did you really think I would put up with your emotionally stunted crap for two years, just to sit in the back while you got all the glory." He pointed to his face. "I am permanently scarred because of those precious mind melds you craved so much, but that no longer matters, for soon the Beta Quadrant will be mine."
Ikar shook his head. "You should not of betrayed me Ora." He said and took one step towards the Vulcan. Ikar grabbed the stunned individual by the neck and sharply twisted it. A resounding crack echoed above the sirens. "Nor should you underestimate me."
Ikar left the Brig and began to make his way to Command. Technically the Computer was locked out to all Starfleet personnel. He and Kirk were now on even footing. It was going to end soon, one way or the other.

The Command Deck erupted in explosions as Kirk struggled to regain tactical control of the station. He had not thought that shooting the tactical station would have resulted in a complete shut down of the weapons systems on the station. It could have been something Commander Ikar had done to the system before Kirk was able to disable Commander Ikar.
“Try and re-route all the weapons systems through the operations console!” Kirk yelled over the several explosions taking place behind him.
“Defensive drones not responding to our command to engaged!” A tactical officer reported.
Kirk had no idea what he was going to do to solve this problem, it seemed that his hails were falling on deaf ears. The two Klingon Bird of Prey’s continued their attack causing light damage to the shields, it was the three Metron war ships that were starting to cause the most damage.
“Kirk to Doctor Fenel.”
“Go ahead Captain.”
“I need you to head down to the brig as quick as you can. I stunned Commander Ikar and had him transported to the brig. I need you to wake him up and get him to tell us how to unlock the weapons systems or else we are going to be destroyed.”
<Tag Dr. Fenel>
“Sir I have been able to restore partial control to the phasers only, the pulse cannons, quantum torpedoes and attack drones are all offline still.” The tactical officer said from the operations console.
“Target the lead Klingon’s weapons system only.” Kirk ordered.
“Sir?” The man questioned.
“It is already clear they are not going to respond to our hails, and they are going to keep firing until we blow up. It is time we start to defend ourselves.” Kirk said.
“Aye sir, firing on lead ship.”
The stations vast number of phasers opened fire on the small Klingon Bird of Prey easily penetrating the shields and causing sever damage to the ship. The only other remaining ship began to open fire again trying to bring the attention away from the wounded Bird of Prey.
“Fire.” Kirk ordered.
A second attack from the station resulted in the same effect as the first time, but this time this Bird of Prey’s hull integrity did not hold, she exploded under the pressure of the stations attack.
“What happened?” Kirk asked shocked.
“Sensors indicated that her hull integrity was down to 65%. It did not take much from this station to destroy her.” The tactical officer reported.
Outside the station the Metron ships continued their attack. The station with its brand new shield system was holding up much better than Kirk had originally thought it would have. Looking at the forward view screen Kirk watched as the ships continued to fire on Deep Space Beta from point blank range. The massive station rocked with each shield impact. Kirk stood wondering what he should do, fire upon the Metrons and ruin the shaky peace they were trying to build to defend himself, or wait to see if Metrel opened a hailing frequency with the station to talk.
“Sir! Shields are down to 35%. What are you orders?”
Kirk was frozen he had no idea what to do. Bracing himself he watched as the Metron’s continued their assault on the base. Explosions and sparks flew from every console on the Command Deck; casualties must have been high at this point. Kirk shuddered as he thought about the many civilians who must have been injured during this attack. Then it happened only one response came to mind and he did not like what he was about to do.
With all eyes looking on Kirk now he finally spoke, “…return fire.”

Fenel was about to contact her academy friend about phaser malfunctions when the station jerked violently, it only took a matter of moments for her to figure out what was going on
=A= Doctor Fenel to all medical personnal, report to you stations immediatly and prepare for casualties=A= Hopefully the emergancy drills where well rehearsed, Fenel hadn't found the time yet to go over them with her team. She set up a site to site transport and in seconds found herself in the flurry of activity in the infirmary. "I need all auxilliary wards set up and all EMHs activated, keep me posted."
=A=Kirk to Doctor Fenel.=A=
=A=Go ahead Captain.=A=
=A=I need you to head down to the brig as quick as you can. I stunned Commander Ikar and had him transported to the brig. I need you to wake him up and get him to tell us how to unlock the weapons systems or else we are going to be destroyed.=A=
=A=On my way=A= Fenel replied as she grabbed a med kit and rished out the door. Fenel hated leaving her team inthe midst of a battle, but the caprain's word was law, and what he told her was good news indeed, Kirk had control of the statio and Ikar was in the brig.
Except he wasnt. When Fenel finaly reached the brig, Ikar was gone.
=A=Captain, Commander Ikar has escaped.=A=
=A=Damn! Go back to your station Doctor, I'll deal with Ikar=A=
Fenel tried to set up another site to site transport, but the computer would not comply. =A=Station under Civilian control, unable to comply, code not valid.=A=
Civilian control, why would someone set that up?i] Fenel wonderd as she took the hard way back to the infirmary, which by now was host to a steady stream of injured

Ikar turned another corner and then stopped.
He had heard something.
He peered round the corner and saw Doctor Fenel head to the Brig. This could work to his advantage. Ikar stole silently round the cornor and stalked Fenel back to Brig. He watched her enter and then heard her contact Kirk, he slowly walked back to a turning point in the corridor and waited. He assumed she would be returning to Sickbay...
He was right...
He jumped the unsuspecting Doctor from behind and gave a sharp elbow to the head. She wouldn't have any long term damage but she would wake with a headache and perhaps slight double vision.
He removed her comm badge from her chest and placed it on his before tapping it, opening a comm link to Command.
"Kirk, I have your good Doctor Fenel. It's you for her. Meet me in Shuttle Hanger 3 in twelve minutes, do not be late."
Ikar closed the comm and threw Fenel's slumped body over his shoulder. He began to make his way to the Hanger, psyching himself up for the confrontation.

Deep Space Beta rocked as the attack continued outside, phasers fired from all available working phaser banks. Kirk braced himself at the top of the Command Deck watching each man work at a frantic pace at their stations while the Metrons clearly visible now fired at will at the large station orbiting their home world.
“Any word on those torpedoes?” Kirk asked
“Not yet sir. We are still trying to override this lock out the station has been placed in.”
“How are the shields holding up?!” Kirk yelled over an explosion behind him.
“Shields are down to 12% sir.” Replied the tactical officer.
“I want you to divert all available power to the shields, everything you can get your hands on. If those shields fail we are dead.” Kirk commanded.
“Aye sir,” was the response.
Kirk ran over to the tactical read out console of the station next to the Commander’s office. It appeared to Kirk that the increase in power was helping bring the shields back up and the new modulation array installed on the shields were helping absorb most of the shield impacts from the Metrons. Structural integrity had begun to fail as the incoming attacks rocked the station.
"Kirk, I have your good Doctor Fenel. It's you for her. Meet me in Shuttle Hanger 3 in twelve minutes, do not be late."
For a moment it seemed the attack had stopped, all eyes looked up at Kirk who stood in shock. Sweat dripped down Kirk’s brow, he had sent her down to extract information from Ikar and it ended up causing more complications to the situation. It seemed like hours Kirk stood there with his mind racing, trying to figure out a way to end this once and for all. Kirk bent over and dropped his head looking down at the floor. The station shook again, sparks flew and still the Command Deck was silent. Taking a deep breath Kirk opened his eyes and found he was still holding the phaser he had shot Ikar with earlier.
“Lieutenant you have the Command Deck.” Kirk ordered just before he ran to the turbo lift behind him.
Kirk found he could not use the site to site transporters like he wanted to it seemed he would have to run all the way down to the shuttle bay, probably something Ikar had wanted the entire time. As Kirk ran down the long corridors in the direction of the shuttle bay he clinched the phaser in his hand and willed the strength to continue running as fast as he could knowing that when he arrived he might not have enough left to fight Ikar. Kirk stopped just short of the door giving him a chance to catch his breath before he would walk into the lion’s den. Kirk set his phaser to kill as he slowly walked up to the shuttle bay doors, letting them slide open to reveal an almost empty shuttle bay.
Kirk walked slowly and cautiously as he entered the shuttle bay, checking his surroundings for the intelligence officer. Looking around the shuttle bay Kirk had forgotten how massive these bays were, just outside the force field was the cold of space and a battle that seemed distant compared to the one he was currently faced with. Scanning the length of the room Kirk spotted Fenel lying on the ground next to a shuttlecraft.
“Fenel!” Kirk yelled as he began to run to where she was lying on the ground.
Moments after Kirk had begun to sprint to the unconscious doctor a single shot was firing striking Kirk in his left shoulder. The impact of the phaser blast caused Kirk to fall, sending his phaser in one direction and causing him to slide across the shuttle bay stopping only inches from Fenel.
Kirk slowly lifted his head up fighting the urge to blackout from the pain. With his right arm Kirk pushed himself up onto his knees keeping his left arm close to his body. His shoulder began to smell of burt flesh and uniform, the smell caused Kirk to cough. Kirk began to stand but the battle outside shook the station as weapon impacts rocked the shields which brought Kirk back down to his knees on the suttle bay floor.
“Looks like I have you right where I want you Kirk.” A voice called out from the shadows.
Kirk looked up and spotted the silver phaser that had shot him as he rushed to help out Fenel. The man behind the phaser crept out from the shadows slowly exposing his face. Kirk was not suprised when the shooter turned out to be Commander Ikar. Kirk finally managed to stand up as he watched Ikar slowly walked closer to Kirk with a large grin on his face.
“Ikar…” Kirk said with anger.

Fenel felt a cold floor beneath her, but did not open her eyes or move. the last thing she rememberd was walking toward sickbay, she heard someone coming up behind her, and then felt a sharp blow to the back of her head.
She opened her eyes, but there was still blackness. This had never happend before. She stayed still, afraid to move because she had no idea where she was or how she got there. She heard phaser fire, and braced for a hit which never came. From th left she heard running, then a sharp gasp and heard something heavy slid across the floor. Someone had been shot, she quickly closed her eyes again and fained unconsuness, He head pounded and she could feel a bruise on the back of her neck.
The person got up, and caughed, it sounded like Kirk, but Fenel didn't dare speak.
“Looks like I have you right where I want you Kirk.” A voice called out It was Ikar, Fenel felt a wave of hatred she normally reserved for admiral Benedict.
"Ikar." the voice, Fenel now recougnised as Kirk's said. Fenel had sensative enough hearing to tell where the Intelligence officer was, but she had no idea what was between her and him.
"Captain..." she groaned, daring at last to speak "I can't see. He knocked my implants lose, my neurons...can't synapse."
"Awake at last, That headache should last awhile, as for your site, that worked much better then I had planned." Ikar laughed.
Fenel fumbled at her side, searching for the medkit, whose shoulder straps she still felt. Without site she would not be able to program a hypospray for anything to ease her headache, but a dose of Anesthezine was a very easy sequence to program, or at least she hoped it was. She set what she recalled as the right perameters and waited, her only protection in the darkness a hypospray.

Beta rocked violently. He had succeeded. Soon the Station would either have to surrender or it would explode, either way war had been started.
He stood, happily towering over Kirk and Fenel, perfectly keeping his balance as the Station rocked and laughing when Kirk fell to his feet. However, Kirk managed to keep his balance and stood defiantly, locking steely gaze with Ikar.
Ikar moved himself within an inch of Kirks faced and grabbed the Captain's injured shoulder, squeezing hard. Kirk cried out with pain as blood oozed from the open wound. The red liquid dripped over Ikar who followed Kirk down to the floor. He moved his head closer and whispered into Kirk's ear.
"It's like crushing a bug."
Kirk looked up and met the gaze once more. Within seconds Ikar had been knocked to the floor by a neat uppercut from Kirk.
Ikar struggled to his feet, dazed slightly. However Kirk was in far worse shape. His shoulder wound had opened further and he was finding it more and more difficult to remain balanced.
"Just give up Kirk! Whether you or I die today it matters not."
Beta lurched violently, sending shuttles skidding across the Hanger and crates of cargo to be knocked from their piles.
Ikar rolled to the floor just in time as a crate narrowly missed his head. When he looked up he could no longer see Kirk.
"Do not play games Jonathan, let us end this now."
"Fine."
Ikar looked up and there was Kirk, jumping from a pile of crates. He smoothly landed on Ikar he crumpled to the floor, winded and confused. Kirk pinned him to the floor and with his good arm pulled Ikar's right arm hard behind the fallen Officer. A snap echoed around the Hanger and Ikar screamed in anguish.
He would not give in...
Muttering words Ora had taught him to focus through pain he swung his left arm behind and smacked Kirk on the jaw. The Captain released his grip, giving Ikar his chance. He stood to his feet and swung round on Kirk, his arm bleeding pefusely. He grabbed Kirk with his good arm and dragged the dazed Captain over to the Forcefield, protecting them from the open vaccum of space. He thrust Kirk into the forcefield and held him there. The energy of the forcefield past through Kirk, causing his body to convulse and shake. Ikar laughed mercylessly.
"You are like a puppet Kirk. A puppet cut from its masters strings." He paused and shoved Kirk into the forcefield a little harder. "Well now I am the puppet master."
A phaser shot hit Ikar smoothly in the back of his leg. He cried out in pain and released Kirk who collapsed into a heap on the floor. Ikar spun round and saw Fenel, blind, but still standing proud.
"I'll rip your thoat from you!!" Ikar yelled.
The Station lurched again and the computer began to screech.
=^= DECOMPRESSION IMINANT IN HANGER THREE, EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY =^=
It continued to repeat this as yet another series of fire hit the Station. Conduits exploded all around them. The sheilds must have failed.
Ikar tried to gain focus again. Fenel had dissapeared, and Kirk... Kirk...
"Where the devil are you Kirk?!" He cried. "Come, let us face death together!!"
"I think not!" Kirk said slamming his fist hard into the back of Ikar's neck, Ikar was sent flying across the Hanger. He felt something in his mouth dislodge and found to his horror that he was coughing up blood.
He tried to speak but his mouth wouldn't work. His jaw hung limply from his head. He looked up and saw Kirk tower over him. This couldn't be happening. Kirk was beyond hurt, he had suffered what should have caused death. How could he continue?
Kirk answered the unasked question. Ikar could not utter it verbally, but the fear and confusion in his eyes told it all.
"Because, Commander." Kirk spat, so weak from the fight. "You are a disgrace to the uniform you wear."
Ikar started to back away from Kirk, the pain beginning to blind his senses. He could no longer see anything but coloured shapes. His hearing had gone, he began to slow. He turned over and collapsed on his back. He saw Kirk crouch down, there was one last moment of pain and then there was only darkness...

Post by Malachi Caspian on Nov 12, 2005 8:12:29 GMT -5
Malachi was beginning to get frustrated. The tech crews on Ko'Vor's ship should have been done hours ago, they were running out of time.
"Sir, we are receiving a communication from the U'Hitar."
"On screen." Malachi said, turning to face the front of the Bridge.
"Captain." Ko'Vor said. "My ship is now ready to depart, thanks to your technicians."
Malachi smiled. "Very good General. I must ask we get underway immediately, I fear that it may already be too late.
"Understood Captain. The Assin Fleet will rendesvouz with us shortly."
"Understood General. When they arrive, my vessel will take Fleet Head, standard Fleet formation. I am to take it that you know Starfleet formations?"
"Of course Caspian, I served with many Starfleet vessels during the war."
"Indeed." Malachi said. "Let us be on our way then." He added before signalling for the comm to be cut.
"Go to Red Alert, however do not activated the Defence Perimeter as yet, Ko'Vor will be unable to follow us if he cannot see us."
"Aye Sir."
The lighting on the Bridge dimmed, Malachi strode over to a Tactical console.
"Set a course for Deep Space Beta." He ordered. "Maximum Warp."
The sleek vessel shot off at high Warp, the U'Hitar close behind. Within minutes of their departure a transmission was picked up.
"It's Admiral Karsay." The comms officer reported.
"On screen." Malachi ordered.
=^= Caspian, I see you have slotted in quite well on the new ship =^=
"Admiral, what is the nature of this hail, we are fast approaching Beta and we do not have time for idle chat."
Karsay looked put out by Caspian's attitude but continued none the less.
=^= I have been ordered to inform you that you are entitled to use any force necessary to remove Ikar and any other Intelligence Officers from Beta, however Command wants him alive =^= Karsay responded, a little frostily.
"Understood Admiral. Caspian out."
The comm closed and Malachi walked out onto the centre of the Bridge. "Why must we get him alive?!" He muttered to himself.
"Sir, the Assin Fleet is requesting permission to join formation."
Malachi sighed. "Put me on to the Fleet." He ordered.
"All ships, this is Captain Malachi Caspian. I am resuming Command of the Fleet, all issues raised must be brought your CO's and my attentions. Starfleet and the Federation owes you a great deal for what you are about to do today, and I will make sure it is not forgotten." He paused. "Today is a good day to die." He finished.
A chorus of Klingon responses greeted him and he smiled. "Let's move out!"
The ships smoothly fell into Formation and they resumed course for Beta, they would arrive within minutes. Testament to this was the path of destruction that met them. Destroyed Warbird's and Metron fighters littered space.
"We are engaging the conflict." Caspian said over the comm. "Battle pattern Omega Nine Four."
The Fleet Formation changed again, splitting into two units.
"Hail the U'Hitar." Ordered Malachi.
He waited a few seconds and then Ko'Vor's image flickered onto the screen.
"I will not ask you to fire upon your Kin General, However we need you to help us in any way you can."
<TAG Ko'Vor>
"Understood General. Caspian out."
The screen image switched to the battle scene that faced them.
"Activate the Defence Perimeter." Caspian ordered. The lighting yet again changed on the Bridge and now Blue and Red lights flashed in time.
"Activate an open channel." He ordered.
"Channel open." Came the response.
"Klingon and Metron Fleets stand down your assault. No more blood needs to be shed today. The attack that began from Beta was the result of a rogue agent who will be detained and punished for what he has done, I repeat - Stand down your attack."
The ship shuddered slightly as the weapons fire turned to them.
"Close the channel." Malachi ordered. "We have our answer. Fire pattern Nine Four Three, Fire!!!"
Within minutes of their arrival Malachi and the vessel he commanded were well into the thick of the battle. They had attempted to contact Beta a number of times but to no avail.
The ship rocked but sheilds remained strong. "Can we pick up particular life signs on the Station?" Malachi asked approaching the Tactical station, now manned by a Bolian male.
"Yes." He replied. "Who am I looking for?" He asked.
"Kirk and/or Ikar, I am pretty sure they will be together."
The vessel swooped round Beta and successfully destroyed another Klingon scout, followed shortly by a Metron fighter.
"I have Kirk's bio-signs." The Bolian officer reported. "Hanger 3."
"Prepare a site to site." He ordered.
"I don't recomend that Sir. Scans show containment failure in that Hanger in less than a minute.
"Well then you'll have to get us out fast then. Engage when ready." He said.
Seconds later and he was enveloped with the familiar blue swirls and arrived as fast as he had left on Beta which could not have been in worse shape.
"Kirk!!" He yelled over the din. "Captain Kirk!!"
He began to work his way through the rubble and destroyed material.
"Kirk!!" He yelled again.
There...
He had spotted him...
There were two figures lying on the floor. "Kirk!" He yelled once more but in vain. He ran over to the two fallen officers and saw a chaotic mess. Kirk was breathing but barely but the other form lay still. Malachi rolled him over and saw the deeply mutilated face of Ikar.
Malachi grabbed the two officers and tapped his comm badge. "Energise!" He yelled.
The three dissapeared just before the Hanger Deck was opened to vaccum, three short bursts from a Metron vessel later and that Section of the Station exploded.
Back on the Bridge of Malachi's temporary vessel, Medical Teams hurried around the three men and one other who Malachi had not seen. He approached the woman and saw that it was Doctor Fenel.
"Doctor, are you alright?" He asked.
<TAG Fenel>
"You must have been pulled out by one of my crew. I will make sure you receive the required medical attention." He replied.
<TAG Fenel>
"Can someone please get the injured off my Bridge. I have a fight to win. Keep me informed on the recovery of both Kirk and Fenel."
Kirk was carried to a transporter platform and was closely followed by Fenel who was being guided. The Transporter beam would take then to Sickbay where they would hopefully recover.
"Battle report!" Malachi ordered once the injured were gone.

Fenel sank to the floor behind a crate after shooting Ikar, she had no clue where she hit him, only that she did. What seemed like hours of hearing fighting, alarms and warning she was pulled up by someone and guided out into the corridor.
"Doctor, are you alright?" someone asked, it was Caspian.
"I... I am fine but I cannot see, I will recover with time. You are alright Captain, that is all that matters to me. I was worried that the transport on the USS Cole would kill you. Speaking of which, I'm afraid you and have some paperwork to unfile." Fenel replied. "How did I get here?"
"You must have been pulled out by one of my crew. I will make sure you receive the required medical attention." He replied.
"That will not be necessary, although my implants have never been this damaged, the federation nanoprobes connecting my occular nerves should be able to repair any damage within a few days. all i require is soeone to help me get to sickbay and check on my team." Fenel replied.
"I will send Simmons." Kirk replied. "Ensign, I need you to take the doctor to the Infirmary and help her there."
Fenel felt a kind hand take her by the arm and guide her through to corridor.

"Thats enough," Metrel ordered to his tactical officer. He had been enraged when the station had attcked them without any cause or provocation.
"Chancellor we should finish them off," Cylia recommended,"they started this war and we can finish it right here and now."
"No we will not destroy the base, there are civilians on board and we do not kill the innocent," Metrel said as he stood up.
"Chancellor we have a fleet of Klingon ships coming our way," his tactical officer reported," sir and they are in attack formation." This was getting worse than before, if it was up to him Metrel would just transport the base and all the ships away but he knew that would not solve the problem. Metrel could not risk all out war with the Federation, Klingons and the Borg. The Metron Consoritium would not survive.
"How many of our own are around us?"Metrel asked.
"Sir there are 3 frieghters, 6 destroyers, and 1 battleship."
"Call them here now," Metrel ordered. In a matter of minutes a fleet of Metron ships would be at his location. Metrel did not want to destroy what he had dreamed for so long, but he had to protect his people. Yet as he was thinking this the base attacked once again and Metrel gave the go ahead to resume firing.
The Klingon fleet arrived much earlier than expected and began to attack its own ships and Metron ships. For the first time in a very long time Metrel saw as a Metron ship destroyed by weapons fire. In fact in matter of seconds mulitple Metron ships were destroyed. This caused an uproar on the bridge of the Destiny.
"Sir, we must destroy them now," Atasar said.
"Sir there is a communications are coming in."
"Klingon and Metron Fleets stand down your assault. No more blood needs to be shed today. The attack that began from Beta was the result of a rogue agent who will be detained and punished for what he has done, I repeat - Stand down your attack."
"Stop the attack," Metrel ordered. This caused some confusion on the Destiny, but everyone complied with Metrel's command everyone except Ataasar. Metrel saw this and yelled for everyone to stop him, but it was to late he had activated one of the Destiny's most poweful weapon.
"Take him out of here, Farn," Metrel said as he approached the weapons console. It was directly aimed at Beta and Metrel knew that it would be destroyed. So Metrel made his decision, he would stop this battle once and for all. So he aimed at the bulk of the attacking fleet and fired.
Multiple explosion followed and half of the Klingon fleet was destroyed, only the most poweful ships surived. All weapons fire stopped, on the Destiny, the Klingon Fleet, and Beta.
The next moment the Metron fleet arrived.
"Tell them to surround the station and the fleet," Metrel said," if any ship tries to escape tell them to disable them."
"Understood, sir"
"Open the comm," Metrel ordered.
"This battle is over, we the Metron Consortium did not start this idiotic attack, but we have finished it," Metrel started," The Klingon Empire has been torned in two as brothers attacked brothers, the Federation in thier idiotic superiorty sent a mad man to Command this ship, but yet in all this the Metron Consortium stood fast and wanted peace. As of now that will not happen, but I will give you the chance. I want the Commanding officers of the Klingon fleet, and Starbase Beta to teleport to the Destiny in two minutes. I also want Commander Ikar no questions asked."

The battle with Ikar seemed as if it spanned the course of days. Kirk’s body was numb with pain, he was barely conscious from the loss of blood and seemed by the look of the battle outside the survival of Beta looked bleak. Kirk’s head began to spin, colors and shapes started to bring together in a whirlwind effect causing Kirk to fall to the deck on his back. Looking at his hand Kirk saw it was covered in blood. Hearing the doctor calling out for him in the distance Kirk tried to focus his attention on the doctor, in a attempt to bring himself back from the dead.
Another voice shot out through the shuttle bay this time Kirk was far too gone to recognize the voice of this new unknown man. Kirk felt a strong hand grab onto his jacket, the sudden jolt brought a new energy to Kirk, keeping him fighting to stay alive.
Kirk began to mumble over and over again hoping one of the doctors would understand, “Regeneration,”
The world passed Kirk by like he was flying, all he could see was the bights lights passing by ever few feet, he had not feared what was happening, he found himself rather relaxed and welcomed the next stage of life. Then the pain returned.
The sickbay doctors cut away Kirk’s jacket and undershirt giving them full access to his shoulder wound. Each member of the medical team look on with shock and surprise, none of them understood why he had not been killed by the shot alone.
Inside Kirk’s body millions of nanoprobes course through out his body, a side effect of once being a Borg drone. This had always been a curse Kirk thought, a way to remind him of a part of his life that he never could forget. Kirk had no way to know but at this moment his curse had become the only thing that had kept him alive. With Borg like persistence Kirk continued to mumble hoping it would clue the doctors in.
“Lets get that wound cleaned up, quick.” A doctor said gathering his troops while he prepared for his battle.
“Sir I think he is speaking?” One of the nurses reported in shock.
“What is he saying?”
The nurse bent over and listened as Kirk continued to whisper.
“Regression, recession, I can not seem to make it out.”
“Regeneration, nurse.” The doctor spoke up. The team had been focused on his arm wound that nobody had noticed the ocular implant above his left eye, “Johnson, grad that spare regeneration node and bring it over here on the double.”
With in seconds of the announcement Kirk’s body was plugged in and his body was receiving the raw energy the nanoprobes needed to function, and repair any damage to his body. Staying persistent the doctor continued to work on Kirk’s burned and bloodied shoulder as he had the EMH monitor Kirk’s vital signs for any sign of danger.
“Everything looks good doctor.” Informed the EMH
“We shall see.” Replied the doctor in a cold tone.

A gasp echoed around the Bridge as the enormous weapon fired. Half of the Assin Fleet was destroyed in an instance.
"Is the U'Hitar still out there?!" Malachi asked, his voice slightly strained.
A few seconds past which seemed like an eternity and then...
"Affirmative, General Ko'Vor has just sent a text transmission. He is standing down until further notice."
"Understood. Get me the Metron Flagship immediately." Malachi ordered.
"There is no need Sir, they are hailing us."
Caspian sighed and cleared his throat, he swept back his untidy hair and straightened his uniform jacket.
"On screen." He said.
=^= This battle is over, we the Metron Consortium did not start this idiotic attack, but we have finished it," Metrel started," The Klingon Empire has been torned in two as brothers attacked brothers, the Federation in thier idiotic superiorty sent a mad man to Command this ship, but yet in all this the Metron Consortium stood fast and wanted peace. "Ambassador Metrel, Your demands are practically impossible to keep. I am sure myself and General Ko'Vor will be happy to beam over, however, Captain Kirk is currently in Sickbay fighting for his life and Commander Ikar is dead, his body is currently being autopsied."
<TAG Metrel>
"I will await your response. Caspian out." Malachi turned round once the screen had flickered to the outside view once more. More Metron ships were arriving by the second. "The minute someone fires out there seperate the ship. Am I understood?" He asked.
He got nods from the senior staff. "Right, now get me Ko'Vor on visual." He ordered.

Fenel worked in sickbay with the EMH as her eyes. Her presence was neccessary to give instructions and keep things official, but surgery was impossible to preform. It had been several hours and yet her vision had not improved. Doctor Bashir told Fenel's parents that any damage to her impants would be repaired automaticallu, and yet she'd seen no improvement and never had they been this damaged.
Fenel had left Kirk under the care of one of her assistants, a kind, yet not always clever human. She had wanted to take care of him herself, but that was impossible.
Casualties where many, but did not exceed the ability of her team to handle them. Unlike the Borg attack, Fenel's expertise was not required for the team's sucsess. Instead she excused the Ensign that Caspain had sent to aid her, and activated the morg's EMH and worked on examining Ikar's body.
The EMH narrated as he worked "Doctor, it appears that he was killed by a single phaser shot to the head, however he has recieved multiple mounds, a broken jaw, brusied ribs, shatterd pelvis and another phaser shot to the left calf."
Fenel smiled at this, she had hit him, it was the first time she was proud of herself for shooting a weapon. "Anything else?"
"He was odd skin lesions on the fact, the cheek, below and above the ear on both sides."
"Let me feel." Fenel asked, she felt her hands guided to the scars, and she arranged her finder on them. "It doesn't seem like someone was trying to hurt them, this pose is very difficult to inflict damage with." she wonderd alowed, and rearranged her fingers several times. "how many vulcans are there on board?"
"there are approximatly 147 Star Fleet offficers and 262 civilians." The EMH reported, "why"
"These marks are from repeated mind melds, they should fade and heal over within several days, but these are relativly fresh." Fenel replied. "I need to speak with the captain about this, someone on board connected with Ikar in a way that should help us understand his intentions."
'The Captain is currently regenerating to recover from his wounds." The EMH replied.
"I'll speak with Caspian, besides I want to do a follow up check on him anyway. Continue with the autopsy, and let me know if you find anything."

Post by Ko'Vor on Nov 13, 2005 14:53:09 GMT -5
The repairs seemed slow but they were completed, no time was left to waste though. Ko'Vor ran to the command deck again and bundling onto the bridge shouted to open a com with Melachi's ship.
when the link opened he was slightly our of breath but knew the severity of the situation so kept it short.
"My ship is now ready to depart, thanks to your technicians."
after a brief chat the comm. again closed and the U'Hitar powered up. 'Status' Ko'Vor requested. 'We are at full power, all weapons charged, the new weapon is online and ready, shields are up and the cloak is ready. we can get max warp and the fleet is about 10 minutes away'.
'Good, get us away, hurry.' The U'Hitar pushed itself into position behind Caspains ship. and as it turned to set itself on the new course the rest of the fleet came into view, gliding across space, only seen when the light glinted off there hulls. 'Hail the fleet.' Ko'Vor stood up. 'Assin fleet, this is General Ko'Vor. As of today our services are transferred to the orders of captain Caspain of the federation Starfleet. Form up behind the U'Hitar in a standard arrow head formation. one other thing. We could possibly be up against not only the station, but also the metrons and my brothers fleet. I don’t know why he is there but we must establish this. aim to only dissable the second assin fleet and aim to disable metron vestals, if piece treaties are to go ahead we want someone to talk to. As for beta, take it to the brink of rubble if you have to. If its still under the command of this....Ikar... you can be sure he wont stop until your in the same status. he is a dangerous man and we cant afford to let him continue his vendetta. Sorry for the speech but we all need to be clear. For Qro'Nos and the empire, K'PLA!'
Ko'Vor switched to audio hearing practically every officer singing in chorus a battle song and at its end replying with the word K'Pla.
Ko'Vor sat down and as the 30 klingon vestals (some from other houses) and the Starfleet ship at the head leapt into warp.
As they arrived they entered instant fire, space was filled with lights, destruction, he saw the second assin fleet engaged on the station, only 9 left of the 20 strong fleet. He also saw Metrons engaged with the klingons and the station. a 3 way fight? how could this even begin?
A hail came from Caspains vestal. "I will not ask you to fire upon your Kin General, However we need you to help us in any way you can." 'I understand captain... But it looks as if i may have to.'
then all of a sudden fire from the metrons and fire from the station concentrated on the new fleets. 'FIRE AT WILL' Ko'vor said as he was flung to the floor for the first time. Over his head a power cable exploded and hung, filling the bridge with smoke. 'DAMAGE REPORT!' Ko'Vor blistered. 'WE HAVE LOST OUT MAIN WEAPON, WE ONLY HAVE CONVENTIONAL WEAPONS NOW SIR' the tactical officer tried to shout over the noise. 'All weapons on main designated targets, get the stations weapons down!'
Repeated hails to all 3 other fleets were unresponsive, although the other klingon fleet were coming to join the assin fleet. hailing Ko'Vor saw his brother pop up on screen. his bridge was battered. 'Ko'Vor, good timing, the metrons and us were attacked by the station, in the confusion we thought it was each other, then when the station 'intervened' we were all fighting each other, its hell out here. We were only with 2 ships at the start, I had to summon the rest of my fleet in the heat of battle.'
Ko'Vor looked at him sharply. 'What were you doing in the area?' Another shudder pummelled the ship, fuzzing the screen for a moment. 'We are hear at the request of the empire, for further talks with the metrons... but those talks never got underway. the comm. was suddenly cut. something had happened which was still being analysed...
A comm. came through from a very rough sounding Kirk. “Attention all ships currently engaged against this station, stand down! The attacks on your ships were caused by a lone officer on board this station and he has since been captured.” Kirk said trying to get the attention of both parties at the same time.
Ko’Vor noticed none of the ships heading to his plea. The metrons were still attacking. ‘Sir the weapon is back up.’ ‘FIRE!’ Ko’Vor said excitedly. ‘One of the metron ships, show them out power, hopefully that will stop them from firing at us at least.’
The u’Hitar let out an almighty pulse that hit a metron target, it didn’t seem to cause much damage but then when the second torpedo hit the metron vestal was quickly disabled. A few more hits and it went up in an almighty explosion.
‘Aim at another target, Fire’
A second metron ship was blown into eternity, then a third. Then something terrible happened. Instead of stopping the attack the metrons turned soaly on the Klingons. Out of 39 ships this one shot got rid of 16 and damaged the rest. The U’Hitars shields withstander the blast but all the rest of the ships lay disabled. Ko’Vor smashed down on his face and getting up again looked enraged at the screen.
A hail came from the metrons.
"This battle is over, we the Metron Consortium did not start this idiotic attack, but we have finished it," Metrel started," The Klingon Empire has been torn in two as brothers attacked brothers, the Federation in their idiotic superiority sent a mad man to Command this ship, but yet in all this the Metron Consortium stood fast and wanted peace. As of now that will not happen, but I will give you the chance. I want the Commanding officers of the Klingon fleet, and Star base Beta to teleport to the Destiny in two minutes. I also want Commander Ikar no questions asked."
Ko’Vor couldn’t respond but hurried to the transporter room, he hoped his brother was doing the same on his ship. Another attack like that would destroy the whole Assin house bar his farther back on Qro’Nos.
Leaving the bridge he ordered a text transition to be sent to Caspain letting him know what was going on. Then quickly he awaited transport. Not knowing what he was to get into now.
